What is Quality Assurance? 

All Hostels have attained VisitScotland Quality Assurance.  VisitScotland (formerly known as the The Scottish Tourist Board) uses a five-level star-grading system to indicate the standard of customer care and range of facilities on offer at assessed establishments. The awards focus on the standard of the welcome, hospitality and service they provide. The number of stars awarded to a property indicate ranges from 1* (acceptable) to 5* (Exceptional).

How do you define Disabled Access?

The Disability Discrimination Act means that hostels have to make reasonable adjustments to the way in which they deliver their services to better meet disabled peoples' requirements. However, some businesses cannot offer, for example, ground floor bedrooms. The best course of action is to phone in advance if you’re not sure or check the hostel website.

Ardenbeg Bunkhouse and Outdoor Centre
